Professional dance shoes

Many dance shoes look very pretty and it can be tempting to wear them for the wedding. In this case take a closer look at the sole of the shoe you choose. Professional dance shoes have often suede soles that are very soft and smooth and let you spin easy on the ballroom floor. They are not suitable to wear outside and will be damaged quickly. If you are choosing dance shoes either change them inside just before the dance or buy the shoes with rubber or hard leather soles.

Shoe inserts

If you are not wearing heels often, the ball joints of your feet may get hurt eventually. There are some inserts that are suitable even for sandals that will make the toe part of a shoe more padded and the shoe more comfortable.

• Heel grips or shoe pads. They are good if you have too narrow heels or the shoe is flipping off your foot when you walk.

Shoes rubbing or too small

If you bought a shoe and it is a little bit too tight or rubbing on the back of your ankles, try stretching them so that they fit better. The most gentle way of stretching is the sock trick where you roll up socks and shove them into a shoe for a night. This will stretch the shoes a little bit and make it more smooth and comfortable.

Wedding shoes for wide feet
